Chance Decker from MHI has been a pleasure to work with so far. We had wind damage to our roof, and when our insurance company told us that our entire roof needed replacement we were shocked. Chance walked our roof and found additional problems that our insurance inspector missed. Because of Chance’s attention to detail, we were able get our insurance payment increased and the entire cost of the new roof covered. Chance has been very responsive and a please to work with. A+ customer service.Edit regarding the roof installation:Roof is completed. Unfortunately, I’m unhappy with the quality of the job. The roof looks sloppy. While the roof appears watertight so far, the Craftsmanship is not great. Seams are gapping, shingles are bent/curled, fascia is bent/not color matched, drip plates/edges are not lined up, and ridge vents are a Travesty (2 neighbors asked why my roof was “wobbly”).It was raining when they put up the roof and the crew was clearly rushing. I speak Spanish unbeknownst to the MHI crew, and I very clearly heard the crew commenting on the need to rush in the rain (clearly visible in the forecast), the low quality of their work due to rushing (specifically in putting down caulking and laying shingles), and heard one guy yelling at another to get the roofing materialsout of a mud puddle.MHI is sending their warranty crew out tomorrow, so I hope they are able to fix it. What a hassle. My concern is that if there are visible craftsmanship issues, there may be invisible issues as well.A second concern is that I spoke with my neighbor who has a similar home size to mine and has skylights that were replaced by MHI and his price seemed more reasonable than mine.MHI was the most expensive quote I received and I expected more based on the sales pitch and reputation/recommendations. It’s unfortunate that the job site manager thought that I would be happy with this job.MHI has been responsive to my concerns and is sending someone out tomorrow to hopefully remediate the situation and I will update the review in the future.Second edit:I was contacted by an MHI representative who requested photos of the problem areas. I sent him the photos and he said he would come out and make the repairs while I was away for a week. I returned today and the repair is have not been completed. This is becoming quite a hassle.
MHI Roofing is an amazing company and so professional I worked and am working with Chance Decker for a whole new transformation of our home we just had the roof done today and the gentlemen were wonderful very kind, easy to work with and great with kids, my kids love to help and they let the kids help clean up any debris and they even got to use the tool to help pick up nails! The kids had a blast and I am one thankful mommy! Thank you MHI Roofing employees for your amazing work and great outcome of my roof! Can’t wait for the rest to be finished!!!

The quality one hopes for now days. Everything was great from the sales service from Zach to the installation. The site coordinator, Luke kept me informed each step of the way. My roof was a special kind of mess with Ondura over top of the shingles and a chimney that needed taken out. Still, the crew was fast and efficient and got it all done in one day. I will be recommending this company to whoever needs roof repair or replacement.Luke was especially attentive to the work being done and did a great job keeping the job running smoothly. He, like Zach our salesperson is a credit to the company

Chance Decker was an excellent consultant. He help navigate all the steps with my insurance company and ensured all the details for my roof and siding were correct. He was my go to guy and always responded promptly. The company worked quickly and I am satisfied with the roof and siding on my house. They did a great job cleaning up after the work was done.
Chance was professional, but approachable. His inspection was thorough even in the middle of a rainstorm. He offered suggestions for my roof repair without pressuring me to follow them. He listened to my concerns and explained how MHI could remedy them.The roofers came when they were scheduled, worked quickly & thoroughly. When finished, they cleaned up every bit of shingles & nails from the old roof. I have not had any leaks or problems since the roof was finished.I was very happy that I chose MHI for this project even before I knew they did roofing "every shingle day"!
Chance Decker has been awesome! He came to my house before we had our insurance company stop and evaluated the house with the insurance company to make sure the insurance provider didn't miss anything. He found hail damage and helped us fight to get our roof done and done right. He helped us find the best shingles and gutters for my house. He was straight forward and honest with me and my family. The cost is great and will definitely be going to MHI for any improvements that we need.
MHI responded quickly to my inquiry. Chance detailed all of my options and gave me all the information needed to make an informed decision. When it came time for installation John and his crew worked hard and gave me updates along the way. I tend to be very involved in projects dealing with my house and asked tons of questions throughout the install. Chance Decker was a breeze to work with. He came our to do the inspection, plan and met with my insurance agency during their inspection. He gave great feedback and was very knowledgeable, as well as kind.Then the installation- I cannot say enough about Josh, Marcelo and the crew. What exemplary work. They went above and beyond. Not one nail or piece of old shingle was left behind. Josh was attentive and responsive, sending updates throughout the day. This team was phenomenal. 100% recommend.
Zachary did the initial inspection and told me exactly what I need. He was very cordial and knowledgeable. Josh brought his team to install the roof and overcome some unexpected obstacles to do the job in one day and they did an excellent job and great cleanup afterward. My neighbors were also impressed. Zach and Josh are both fantastic people and great to work with. I would highly recommend MHI and Zach and Josh to anyone suspecting they need a new roof.
